Wow that.s been a while

Ok, I went to Phi Phi island, the Tiger Kingdom, Fantasea, Every major place to you, they take your picture, then want to sell it to you in a frame of some sort as a keepsake. It's pretty cheap, but, it adds to the weight.

The Tiger Kingdom has tigers you can interact with, hugging them, and holding their tail. They are somewhat sedated, but not o much that they couldn't walk around or take a dip in the water to cool off. Some say it could be abuse of a sort, keeping the tigers that way, but on the other hand, if it makes people aware of tigers, and yo bond with them, and you give to appropriate organizations that try to save them, then it could be a good thing. How else would you have the opportunity to interact?

Fantasea is a park of sorts, lots of shops to buy in, a little fashion show,  and a proper elephant show with  a fictional story, or mythology, very nicely done. No seats were really bad because they had things happening all over, including above.

The city tour was nice, and it included an elephant ride for about 1/2 hour.  They really pack in a lot in these tours. We went to a cashew farm, honey farm where I learned to differentiate the difference between raw, and processed honey, and a really nice temple. I bought incense for us all there. This ended up at a jewelry store with high end goods, and very pushy salespeople. There was a cafe at the end, where we got a free coffee. I didn't buy cashews because I can't chew right now, and I'm coming back to finish up my dental treatment. Hopefully, by then I'll be in better shape.

I also did a floating market tour. Not quite what I thought but I saw floating huts (on stilts really) that could be rented, lots of lotus in varying degrees of growth, we went to a floating restaurant that had alligators,  (properly contained), and hammocks to rest in. All very nice.
